about 12 years ago. Though I always dreamed of having my own studio, I always thought it would be for video, not photography.

I joined Infocus in 2015 after spending so much time at the studio that I became part of the furniture.
I'm passionate about capturing the world around me, watching events as they unfold, and recording true and natural versions of stories.

When you work with a professional photographer, you should expect a professional service. That means the photographer will get the job done for you. The whole job. Giving you a CD for $50 is not doing the whole job.
We will guide you through every aspect of your photography experience, from booking your session or event coverage to delivery of your image products.
When booking with us, we'll arrange a pre-session consult with you. You'll meet us in our spacious studio to tell us all about your vision for your session. We'll discuss your outfits, props, location and show you some of our products to give you time to think about your display options. For weddings and other special events we'll talk about who is going to be there, what you'd like captured, and what special things might be happening during the event. We want to make sure we don't miss anything that is important to you.
At your portrait session we can spend up to two hours with you, trying different locations, different outfit choices if you wish, working with you and the available light to ensure you look your best and have fun. Generally we have two photographers working with you throughout your session to ensure we capture both posed and candid shots in varied styles and from different perspectives. For events, we'll rove among guests, capturing both candid and posed shots of groups and individuals, and for weddings bridal portraits and posed family shots.
After your session or event we'll arrange a viewing and ordering session for you. You can relax in our studio, taking your time to review your images and choose your favourites. We'll guide you through the entire process to ensure you have the best display option for each image you select.
We fully colour correct and edit your chosen images, then print. We do most of our printing in house, including all of our archival quality lustre and metallic prints. For block mounting, acrylic, metal, canvas and albums we use amazing local suppliers, and although the process can take a little longer when we call on our extended team, it is definitely worth the wait.
Finally, when you collect your images from our studio, they are ready to display in your home. There is nothing else for you to do except sit back and enjoy your beautiful images.
As you can see, the process isn't a quick "shoot and burn" that can be done in a day. We put many hours and much thought into every client's requirements to ensure each has an individualised experience with us. Because every client is unique, it's not possible for us to give a set price for a portrait session or event coverage. However, as a guide, our portrait sessions start at $150 and our wedding or event photography packages at $660. For more details regarding our wedding pricing, click here.
